EXTERNAL VENETIAN BLINDS - Many functions, many advantages
3x faster drive
The new STM motor is 3x faster than a standard motor and releases a patio door in under 20 seconds. Turning and slat positioning take place at standard speed. Nothing else needs to be considered during installation - planning effort, integration and control are unchanged.
EcoClean™ coating
When it comes together with UV light and moisture, the light-sensitive titanium dioxide coating on the top of the slats acts like a catalyst and decomposes organic dirt and smog particles. Self-cleaning is ensured by the superhydrophilic (water-loving) surface, on which the decomposed pollutants simply slide off when it rains.
Slats
Numerous slat widths, shapes and colours are available. The slats are made of a robust aluminium alloy (approx. 0.45 mm thick). The surface of the slats has been stove enamelled in a special process to resist corrosion.
Rope guide
If the sunshade is to be integrated as inconspicuously as possible into the façade, the filigree cable guide, only 3.3 mm thick, is the ideal solution.
Guide rail
Installation is carried out using spacers in conjunction with various standardGUIDE RAILS. A thermally separated and driving rain-proof guide rail is also available on request with SHADOW-TG.
Top rail girder
A noise-optimised aluminium top track support with cable holder is fitted as standard.
Top rail
The extruded top rail is made of 1.5 mm thick aluminium for low-vibration running.
Pack height optimised and flanged slat
The new geometry of the edge-flanged slat, with a reduced diameter of the edge flange, increases the stability and strength of the slat by over 5 %. The guide nipple with high-quality, flush-mounted 2-point welding and large counter plate transfers the stability to the GUIDE RAILS. The EXTERNAL VENETIAN BLINDS have a dynamic and expressive effect in a classically timeless design.
Bottom rail
Extruded, heavy bottom rail for a positive influence on the movement of the external venetian blind.
Ladder / loop cord
The lift tapes, also called Tex-tapes, are made of black, high-strength and specially coated polyester. Kevlar-reinforced polyester ladder cords are used for all flat and edge-flanged slats. For blackout slats, special aramid fibres are used for high stability and flexibility.
