Beck+Heun has a new flagship in its add-on box range: The neopor system ROKA-TOP® NEOLINE 2 is a powerhouse in terms of insulation, stability and ease of installation.

The top box bestseller ROKA-TOP® is now also available in an optimised new edition: ROKA-TOP® 2.

The problem of force-locking window fastening for window-roller shutter box combinations causes controversy in the industry. Beck+Heun develops a stabilising bracket that protects large box elements against extreme weather. It is certified by the PIV Institute and is integrated into the box during the foaming process.

Beck+Heun makes it possible to ventilate with minimal heat loss: The decentralised AIRFOX® ventilation system contains a heat exchanger. It is now available as additional equipment for the complete ROKA-CO2MPACT® system and is integrated into the reveal.

2013

Beck+Heun launches the CAMPUS training series for customers and interested parties. More than 100 participants have already registered for the first semester.

Beck+Heun invests in the machinery for roller shutter box production. A total of five new systems are to meet the increased order situation and ensure resource-saving production.

Beck+Heun launches sales of the first roller shutter box series made of Neopor®. ROKA-NEOLINE® and its sister series made of brick, ROKA-LITH NEOLINE, cover all common masonry types and dimensions. The systems achieve remarkable Psi and U thermal values.

2010

The southern branch expands its premises. The location in Hennhofen is now expanding to around 26,800 square metres.

Beck+Heun is applying its expertise in thermal insulation and efficiency in related areas - the BIMAX-THERM® basement ceiling insulation will be included in sales in the autumn.

The popular product area of roller shutter box renovation is being expanded with two new developments. In addition to THERMO-FLEX, Beck+Heun offers SAN- and PROFI-FLEX, two new systems for this area of application.

Sales launch of the patented innovation ROKA-CO2MPACT® - a unique insulation system ring around the window, optionally with integrated roller shutter or external venetian blind box.

Beck+Heun delivers to Tunisia for the first time and opens up a completely new market with North Africa. In order to further expand its presence, the partner company Beck+Heun Tunis is founded soon afterwards.

First sale of the second patented insulation system for the retrofit insulation of roller shutter boxes THERMO-FLEX.

The southern branch moves into the now acquired and modernised premises in Altenmünster/Hennhofen. It covers an area of around 14,000 square metres.

2004

Increased focus on this completely new market and development of the patented renovation system for roller shutter boxes - ROKA-ASS. Beck+Heun is the first manufacturer to invest in products for the professional refurbishment and retrofit insulation of roller shutter boxes.

Front-mounted roller shutter boxes and insect protection systems are added to the product portfolio.

Rollei GmbH' (Rollei for: roller shutters and mouldings) is renamed 'Beck+Heun GmbH Erfurt'.

Beck+Heun GmbH receives the 'TOP100' seal of quality for its outstanding innovative achievements. The award is based on a comparative study by the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, which examines the innovation management of medium-sized companies.

With PLATINUM, Beck+Heun developed a stabilisation system for roller shutter boxes that is still unique today.

Development of a lightweight construction kit for external venetian blinds, which makes it possible to integrate this type of sun protection system into the façade and which covers every installation situation - ROKA-SHADOW®.

The Leben Helfen gGmbH foundation is established to support disadvantaged and needy people.

The Rollei GmbH business building burns down completely in a fire during the night of 4 to 5 February 1994. Opening of a new multi-storey administrative complex at the Erfurt site after only ten months of construction in December 1994. The new prestigious business building has a glazed exhibition hall, a disposition and order acceptance department as well as various sales and consulting offices.

Sales launch of patented brick roller shutter boxes.

Reinhold Beck is awarded the Medal of Merit by the then Mayor of Mengerskirchen, Robert Becker. He receives this honourable distinction for the responsibility he has shown in a special way towards the people of the local area in all decisions.

Beck+Heun is developing a recycling concept for roller shutter boxes that is unique in Germany with a special in-house shredding plant.

For the first time, Beck+Heun produces and sells more than 1 million running metres of roller shutter boxes.

Another hall is being built for the mineral coating of roller shutter boxes.

Beck+Heun achieves a market-leading position and opens up the Polish market together with the partner company SOLIMPLEX.

A modern new building for administration and production is inaugurated at Rollei in Erfurt.

Within four years Beck+Heun renews the entire stock of roller shutter box production machines.

1990

In the new federal states, the former Produktionsgenossenschaft des Handwerks (PGH) - a nationally owned enterprise - is reprivatised and continued as an independent Rollei GmbH. Centrally located in Erfurt's industrial area, the property covers an area of almost 15,000 square metres. Rollei now sells the complete Beck+Heun range, modern elements from the areas of window, door and gate technology as well as shading systems.

On 1 January 1990, the Beck+Heun sole proprietorship is converted into a limited company with the participation of the children - the 2nd generation of the Beck family takes over the management.

1989

An additional warehouse with around 1,000 square metres of space is being built.

1983

The insulating formwork system developed and patented by Reinhold Beck is recognised and awarded as an 'economically valuable invention' by the Hessian Minister of Economics and Technology.

1981

Granting of a protective right to an insulating formwork system specially developed by Reinhold Beck.

1969

Start of production of roller shutter boxes made of Styropor® and self-building of the first production machine for their manufacture.

Willi Heun retires as a partner. Beck+Heun is continued as a sole proprietorship by the Beck family. The name Beck+Heun is already well known at this time.

The foundation stone for today's ROKA Werk, another subsidiary of the Beck group of companies, is laid - with the opening of the metal processing division and the production of stainless steel furniture and electrical appliances for the catering industry.

Expansion of the object of the company to include the manufacture of sheet metal roller shutter boxes.

Construction of the first factory building on the company's own property in the Waldernbach industrial estate.

1962

The foundation stone for the Beck+Heun company is laid by Reinhold Beck and Willi Heun. The object of the company is the industrial production of concrete goods. Relocation of the company headquarters to Waldernbach and expansion of the company's object to include the manufacture of concrete roller shutter boxes.
