In all branches of the Beck group of companies, innovativeness is regarded and cultivated as one of the most valuable components of the corporate culture. Our activities in the field of research and development are based on the realisation that product ideas are not created sitting in front of a blank sheet of paper, but in practice. They are on the way from the planning stage to the construction site to the inhabited home. That is why it is important for us to maintain a continuous dialogue with all market participants.

Through cooperation with institutes, universities and associations, we always have our finger on the pulse of the industry. In addition, we take as many opportunities as possible to exchange ideas with our customers. This ensures the development of customer-oriented product solutions. By the way, manufacturing according to individual requirements and problems is a particular strength of Beck+Heun.

Production takes place in our machinery with electronically controlled production processes as well as robot-assisted brick box production. This enables the production of highly complex moulds with extreme precision. This technical equipment not only enables us to manufacture sophisticated product systems, but also guarantees short delivery times due to the enormous speed.

The machines and workbenches are staffed by qualified employees who are kept up to date through regular training. Continuous checks based on customer and market needs guarantee compliance with the highest quality standards.

The key to developing practical solutions often lies in listening. Many incentives and ideas come from our customers.

The materials that insulating rooms are made of

The new and further development of shading, insulation and ventilation systems around the window is our daily task. Materials play a particularly important role in this. In an industry dominated by Psi, U and other building physics values, the success of a product stands and falls with the performance of the materials used in it. For Beck+Heun, only lightweight, flexible and environmentally friendly materials that meet the highest demands for insulation and durability are considered.

The development of our products is mainly inspired by the diverse processing and design possibilities of classic EPS rigid foam and increasingly its further development Neopor®. These proven insulation classics are supplemented by other materials that are suitable for special building situations and requirements. For example, Beck+Heun also has a comprehensive range of brick and aerated concrete boxes for the solid construction sector.

Materials science is a key technology. More than two thirds of all technical innovations are directly or indirectly due to new materials. We leave no stone unturned in adapting our systems to the requirements of the future.

Strong insulation performance for almost every building situation

EPS rigid foam has been the classic material for efficient thermal insulation for decades. The silver-grey Neopor®, the new generation of the bead-shaped granulate, contains graphite particles that reflect thermal radiation and thus reduce the transport of thermal energy within the material. Thus, a panel made of Neopor® achieves up to 20 percent better insulation performance than conventional EPS rigid foam with the same material input.

In addition to their inexhaustible diversity in terms of processing, the pearl-shaped beads have numerous other properties that make them a universally applicable material: EPS rigid foam has a high strength combined with a low weight. It is also resistant to cold and moisture and has good shock-absorbing properties.

Moulded and contour-cut products made of EPS rigid foam enable individual solutions for all areas of industry and construction - wherever a custom-fit component with excellent insulating properties is required.
