RESPONSIBILITY
Protecting and preserving the environment

As an employer for around 550 employees, we are aware of our ecological and social responsibility. That is why we are committed to a clean environment, act prudently and conserve resources.

In order to ensure environmentally friendly processes in both production and administration, existing processes are constantly being refined. For example, investments were made in new boiler systems for foaming EPS rigid foam. Not only do they produce 45 per cent more steam, they also do so with lower energy consumption andCO2 emissions.

Another example is the 920 photovoltaic modules installed on the roof of the main building in Mengerskirchen to supply energy for production. A total of 6,000 square metres of roof surface are used to generate renewable energy. Incidentally, short distances are also covered with electricity. An electric car including a filling station was purchased for this purpose.

Sustainability is not a buzzword for us, but has always been part of our actions. This is also proven by the recycling system we have been operating since the sixties. Customers dispose of residual materials from purchased construction elements in this system, which can then be returned to the Beck+Heun production process.

The fact that my employer promotes ecological solutions gives me a good feeling. Because if you plan for the future, you also have to ensure sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITY
Being there for those who need support

LEBEN HELFEN GmbH was founded in 1994 by the Beck Group. Since then, it has been supporting people in need with a variety of aid projects spread across all continents. The financial resources used for this purpose used to be spent on Christmas presents for customers and business partners as well as on advertisements and advertisements.

In the Latvian town of Wangash, for example, a soup kitchen was equipped with professional kitchen utensils that meet the country's hygienic requirements. For a school in The Gambia, the donations have been used for many years to finance teachers' salaries, teaching materials, school fees and meals for the pupils.

But there is also a need for action in the local region, which LEBEN HELFEN is addressing. One example is the conversion of the old school in Waldernbach into a family centre. It has now become a much-visited meeting place for citizens of all ages. Among other things, the family centre also has a doctor's surgery and an assisted living facility.

We are proud to be able to make our contribution to the positive development of people near and far and are always pleased to receive the lovingly crafted letters of thanks from the supported areas.
