Versatile solutions for sun protection
Facade-integratable
Thanks to plasterable outer and inner legs, the complete integration of the boxes into the house façade is possible. They thus offer freedom for architectural design wishes and form a uniform plaster base with the masonry.
Up to 6 metres long
Large window fronts are becoming increasingly popular due to their high incidence of light and unobstructed view of the surrounding nature. With a length of up to six metres, Beck+Heun offers optimally insulated shading elements that are easy to install.
Integrated mounting rail
Quick and easy mounting: With the mounting rail already integrated, the external venetian blind package can be integrated into the box quickly and without the tedious marking of the fixing points. It also provides even more stability for the entire external blind box.
Especially for ETICS facade
A variant with a slim outer leg is available for use in the ETIC system. It has a Phonotherm cover. This must be provided with at least 40 mm insulation on the front side in accordance with plaster guidelines (see guideline: Connections to windows and ROLLER SHUTTERS for plaster, composite thermal insulation systems and dry construction, edition 2010-2).
Thermally insulated side panel
The insulated side panel and support area not only provide additional protection against heat loss, but also effectively decouple sound from the masonry.
Insulation block element without thermal bridges
A highly insulating shading system is used instead of the sheet metal boxes screwed onto the masonry or the frame. This enables the integration of the shading, and at the same time eliminates the energetic weak points above the window.

Impervious to driving rain and thermally separated
The SHADOW-TG base rail is optionally available for the LIGHTWEIGHT BOXES FOR EXTERNAL VENETIAN BLINDS . It has a thermal break and is driving rain-proof.
Insulation / Material
The particularly energy- and raw material-saving material Styropor® is very environmentally friendly. The highly insulating polystyrene rigid foam [ λ = 0.035 W/(mK) - B1] and the special manufacturing process of LIGHTWEIGHT BOXES FOR ROLLER SHUTTERS achieve excellent insulation and sound insulation values.
Material variants
For optimal realisation of the EnEV requirements, this box system is optionally available in Neopor® [ λ = 0.032 W/(mK)] or Styropor® [ λ = 0.035 W/(mK)].
Unique diversity
Whether box or shaft dimensions, Beck+Heun offers the largest selection of heights, widths and depths. Almost unlimited possibilities also result from the flexible adaptation to special structural features and the production of individual solutions.
Steel reinforcement insert (optional)
High and durable stability are the distinguishing features of our external venetian blind boxes. Profiled PLATINUM®Steel sheets ensure high rigidity. Costly support in the shell construction phase is reduced.

Special equipment and accessories
STABILUM FIXING CONCEPTS - Transfer of wind and impact loads
Stabilum fasteners absorb loads from the window and transfer them to the structure. They are technically tested and guarantee that no functional impairments, permanent deformations or damages occur on the window under defined boundary conditions.

Types of hangings
The Beck+Heun lightweight series can be optionally equipped with a wide range of curtain variants. In addition to ROLLER SHUTTERS and EXTERNAL VENETIAN BLINDS , textile hangings or blindable ROLLER SHUTTERS are also possible.

Belt, crank, motor - the drive type can still be decided or changed in the shell. The drive is pre-equipped at the factory on request.
